The Association is run by very generous people who volunteer their time because they care about their community,
their families, and the future of Magnolia Valley.
Every resident of our community can help. You could become an Officer, a Director, or a Committee Member.
If you feel you don't want or can't get that involved just become a Member by sending a $25.00 check to the above address. Thank you and see you at the meeting.
In What Ways Do I Benefit From My Annual $25.00 Dues To The Magnolia Valley Civic Association?
Your $25.00 Dues go a long way in maintaining a safe, attractive and comfortable community in which to live. Some expenses for the neighborhood and its upkeep include...
1. Lawn maintenance of community beneficial properties such as the Park, Entrances and common grounds.
2. Electric, watering and landscaping at entrances to enhance our communities appearance.
3. Community Communications with a quarterly Newsletter "Valley Voice" and our Web Site.
4. Free advertising for the Annual Community Yard Sale in November.
5. Maintenance and Insurance for Buffer Wall along Massachusetts Ave.
6. Enforcement of Deed Restrictions and County Land Development Code to maintain a safe and healthy community.
7. Representation on county affairs that effect our community such as repaving roads, drainage, noise barrier on Massachusetts Ave., the opening of Osteen Road, Etc...
8. Frequent maintenance from vandalism or storm damage.
9. No increase in membership dues over the last Eight (10) years in spite of increased cost to operate. Dues are still only $25.00 a year.
10. There are many other operating expenses such as Annual Corporate and County filing fees, Rent for monthly meetings, Annual fees for Post Office Box and Safety Deposit Box, Postage, Paper, Ink, Envelopes for Bills, Code Compliance and Membership Reminders, Signs for Meeting and Community Yard Sales and much, much more. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT ALL OFFICERS, DIRECTORS AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE VOLUNTEERS SERVING YOU AND YOUR COMMUNITY.
